Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur: Cincinnati; Belmont; Waltham

The Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur were the second women's congregation of Ignatian spirituality to come to the US.  St Julie Billiart founded this Sisterhood around the time of the French Revolution, after a miraculous cure. Before Vatican II, they were primarily a teaching congregation. More history here:
